Rooted in community. Raised with purpose.
At Patterson Ranch Beef, our roots run deeper than our pastures. We believe strong communities grow alongside strong ranches. From supporting youth agriculture programs to partnering with local events that celebrate Western heritage, we’re proud to invest our time, land, and livestock into experiences that educate, inspire, and bring people together.
Growing the next generation of ranchers
We are honored to work closely with local 4H programs, helping young ranchers gain hands-on experience and confidence in livestock care and land stewardship. Most recently, we partnered with the Palo Cedro 4H Beef Project for a full day at the ranch where participants learned through doing — sorting cattle, branding, ear tagging, conducting health checks, and understanding what it truly means to raise animals responsibly. For us, these moments matter. They pass down not just skills, but values — respect for the land, care for the animals, and pride in honest work.
Supporting western tradition & local events
We are proud supporters of the Redding Rodeo, a cornerstone of our region’s Western culture and community spirit. You can find us cheering on competitors and connecting with fellow ranching families at this year’s rodeo, happening May 13–16. Events like these bring together generations of families, ranchers, and neighbors — and we’re grateful to be part of keeping those traditions strong.
